Jilda Shernoff Attends 2013 Jenesse Center Silver Rose Gala Hosted by Jurnee Smollett-Bell

This year it was held at Vibiana on April 6, 2013 in Downtown Los Angeles. Jenesse Center is a national non-profit domestic violence intervention and prevention organization that provides a holistic, comprehensive program to nurture victimized families back to a place of mental, financial, physical and emotional well-being. The theme for the 2013 Silver Rose was "Because of You". Frazier-Thomas said, "We chose the theme 'Because of You' as a tribute to the donors, supporters, volunteers and friends who support Jenesse in so many ways. It is the network, outreach, influence and impact of our supporters that makes reaching our mission possible." The event raised funds and saluted important community figures who advance Jenesse Center's mission to protect families from the ravages of domestic violence. This year's distinguished 2013 Silver Rose Honorees include Kenneth Bentley, Vice President Community Affairs at Nestle USA, Riaz Patel, President of Axial Entertainment and Terri Seymour, Correspondent for nationally syndicated entertainment show "Extra". These individuals are representative of Jenesse's strategic vision to change the world by welcoming the very best ideas and opportunities for families. Jenesse is proud to present the Fannie Lou Hamer Award to Alice Brown, Jenesse Case Manager and Brenda Adway, Jenesse Customer Care Supervisor. Jilda Shernoff was back in Las Vegas March 14th-15th at Studio at the Palms working on another song for the score for her Documentary about domestic violence titled "Why Women Stay?" Jilda along with Jay Terrien who has been working with her on arrangements.

John Varvatos 10th Annual "Stuart House" held on March 10th, 2013 in Los Angeles was hosted by Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner this year. The event is a charitable cause to bring awareness to sexually abused children. Aerosmith performed with surprise guest "Slash" jumping in on guitar. Many Celebrities showed up for the event.
