Join DavaDanielle Design Saturday, December 8, 2012 as we team up with 7 remarkable young women for our 3rd Annual Toy Drive. We want to make this year BIGGER & BETTER. So PLEASE join us & bring a friend. Were asking each guest to bring a new & unwrapped gift for a boy or girl the ages of newborn-17yrs. If your unable to shop for a gift we ask for a donation of $10.

ABOUT THE JENESSE CENTER:
This year we have chosen to “Give-Back” to an organization called Jenesse Center. Jenesse Center, Inc. is the oldest domestic violence intervention program in South Los Angeles. The Center was founded in 1980 by five African American women who were survivors of domestic violence. Their mission is to provide victims of domestic violence with a comprehensive, centralized base of support to assist them in addressing their immediate crisis and changing the patterns of their lives.
Domestic Violence is something that almost goes UN noticed until you hear of a woman being murdered or hospitalized. Domestic Violence plays a huge role in the lives of the children involved. The children suffer from post traumatic stress disorder, fear, resentment, confusion and so much more. Going from a very traumatic environment into a new environment with new faces can be quite intimidating.
There is nothing that would touch a child’s heart more than to give them something to smile about, something that can turn their bad days into good days. A little love can go a very long way.
