Jilda Shernoff Hosts Surrender Jewelry at her home in Beverly Hills
Surrender Jewelry of Los Angeles held an event on Friday, November 16 celebrating the launch of their new line of recovery-themed jewelry. Surrender Jewelry designs high-end jewelry for people who are in a program of recovery and those that support them.
The launch party was held in Beverly Hills at the home of Jilda Shernoff. Founded by Larry and Gracie Darden, Surrender Jewelry unveiled their latest ring design: the Serenity Ring. Beautifully set in silver or 18kt gold.
The Serenity Ring uniquely displays the “Serenity Prayer” around the outside of the band. Mr. Darden explained, “The Serenity Prayer is a meaningful part of recovery for many people. It reminds us that we need to do the best we can every day but we still need to let go of those things that are out of out control.”
Gracie Darden, the ring’s designer and co-founder of Surrender Jewelry: “Even though I’m not in recovery myself, I searched for a long time to find high- quality jewelry to wear in support because almost everyone has struggled with some challenge in their lives. I couldn’t find anything on the market that made a significant statement about recovery but still retained the elements of fine jewelry design. We feel that our pieces are worthy of the effort that people put into their recovery. People can wear our jewelry to support their friends and family whose lives have been changed by their struggle or as symbols of strength and rebirth for those who feel they now have a second chance at life.”
People attending the event last Friday were treated to 24kt gold leaf or pure platinum leaf body art from a leading designer form Japan. Anyone interested in Surrender Jewelry’s line of custom designed recovery jewelry can find it at Gregory’s at 147 N. Robertson in Beverly Hills or online at http://surrenderjewelry.com/
